We're proud to support British Food Fortnight

At Budgens, we champion British growers and producers all year round, ensuring we bring you great quality seasonal produce from around the UK.

To show our support, we proudly sponsor British Food Fortnight, and have done for the last 4 years. This annual event was started in 2002 and has established itself on the national calendar as an important date for British producers and retailers alike. Shops, producers, restaurants and schools all take part in activities during the  fortnight and use it to showcase the variety, health benefits and pleasures of eating quality, fresh, British produce.

Pop into your local Budgens during the fortnight and you’ll find special displays of British products (hyperlink to British Suppliers page) and lots of special offers on delicious regional produce, giving you the chance to try all the best that Britain has to offer. Your local Budgens may well have links with the local schools in your area, running competitions and helping children get a better understanding of a healthy diet.
