Simple steps to make your flowers last longer:
• Make sure your vase is clean
• Use fresh, lukewarm water and add Budgens flower food in proportion
• Remove all leaves below the water level
• Take at least 2cm off all stems (except daffodils as they will release more sap) making a slanted cut with a sharp knife or very sharp scissors. This will help them drink more easily
• Avoid draughts, heat and direct sunlight as they can shorten your flowers’ life
• Remove flowers as they fade
• Change the water regularly – this can prolong the life of your flowers |
