Shoppers can expect to save even more money at Budgens in 2012 with further prices lowered as well as price matching Tesco on even more products.
Says Donal Horgan, Managing Director Musgrave Retail Partners GB: "Budgens shoppers have already reacted well to phase one of our campaign with a particularly strong response to our Tesco price match activity. In January we lowered the price of further products and extended our Tesco price match."

We are giving shoppers exceptional value through a combination of permanent price cuts on Tesco price match and through great offers throughout the store every week."
This is the second and final phase of Budgens´ price investment, which comprises an annual commitment to invest £13 million.
Budgens now price matches over 500 Budgens´ shoppers favourite lines against Tesco, including Kingsmill bread and Heinz baked beans, as well as delivering lower prices on even more products. This follows the launch last September to lower prices on 1,000s of products in store and the launch of the Tesco price match range of 300 lines.
