Cider, Rum & Cinnamon Punch

Ingredients

  • 100g caster sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50ml dark rum*
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Vintage Dry Cider*
  • Apples for garnish

Method

  1. Firstly make the cinnamon syrup, place the sugar and ground cinnamon in a small pan with 100ml water and heat gently whilst stirring to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for 6-8 minutes.

  2. Add the rum, lime juice and cider, bring to a simmer.

  3. Pour into four glasses, and serve with a slice of apple as garnish.

*For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and use apple juice instead of cider.
