how to make Espresso Granita - Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 50ml vanilla vodka
  • 50ml Tia Maria
  • 75ml freshly brewed espresso coffee
  • 40ml lightly whipped double cream
  • ½ tsp dark chocolate

Method

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the vanilla vodka and the Tia Maria.

  2. Brew the coffee and pour straight into the shaker, cover with a glass and shake really well for at least 1 minute.

  3. Strain into a freezeable container and freeze for at least 4 hours until as solid as it will get – it won’t freeze to a really solid state because of the alcohol.

  4. Break up with a fork and divide between 2 glasses.

  5. Top with the cream and chocolate and serve straightaway.
