Ferrero Rocher Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200g 70% dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 100g butter
  • 225g light soft brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 100g plain flour
  • 50g ground almonds
  • 16 milk and dark Ferrero Rocher

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C, fan 160, gas mark 4. Grease and line a 20cm square cake tin.

  2. Place the chocolate and butter into a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Heat until just melted, then remove and stir until smooth.

  3. Meanwhile, place the sugar and eggs into a large bowl and beat until light and fluffy and doubled in volume.

  4. Stir in the cooled melted chocolate and mix until combined.

  5. Fold in the flour and ground almonds and mix again until combined.

  6. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared cake tin then carefully place the Ferrero Rocher over the top in even rows.

  7. Place in the oven to bake for 25 minutes until just set then leave to cool for 20 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
