Leftovers Pasta


  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 onion, roughly chopped
  • 400g cooked turkey/ham/cooked pigs in blankets, roughly chopped
  • 300g cooked carrot/parsnips/sprouts, roughly chopped
  • 2 x 400g Dolmio red lasagne sauce plus 1 jar full warm water
  • 250g Jack’s fresh tagliatelle or whatever fresh pasta you have to hand
  • 1 x 125g ball Mozzarella, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped


  1. Heat a large sauté pan until hot

  2. Add oil and onion and cook for 3-4 minutes

  3. Add Dolmio red sauce plus water and bring to the boil

  4. Add pasta, stir in gently and cook for 4 minutes

  5. Add cooked meat and cooked vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes

  6. Add mozzarella and parsley and cover with lid for 2 minutes

  7. Serve
