Lentil & Halloumi Biryani

Ingredients

  • 1 x 440g Jack’s tikka masala sauce
  • 1 x 400g tin lentils, drained and rinsed
  • 1 x 250g halloumi, drained and cut into chunks
  • 1 x 250g Jack’s microwaveable Pilau Rice
  • 160g frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp roughly chopped coriander

Method

  1. Tip the sauce into a medium saucepan, add the lentils and halloumi and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.

  2. When bubbling, add the rice and peas and heat through until piping hot.

  3. Stir in half the coriander, then decant into serving bowls and scatter the remaining coriander over the top.

  4. Serve straightaway.
