Marmalade Margaritas


  • 2 limes, halved
  • 50g fine sea salt
  • 200ml tequila reposado
  • 100ml lime juice
  • 100ml Cointreau/Grand Marnier/orange liqueur
  • 120g marmalade
  • Ice


  1. Rub the cut edge of the lime around the top of 4 glasses.
  2. Tip the salt onto a plate.
  3. Press the rim of the glass into the salt to coat.
  4. Set glasses aside.
  5. Tip 4 handfuls of ice into a blender.
  6. Add tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and marmalade.
  7. Blitz until smooth.
  8. Pour into glasses and garnish with lime, straws, whatever you fancy!
