Quick Smoked Salmon Pate


  • 300g smoked salmon
  • 110g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Budgens fresh double cream
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 4 tbsp chives
  • Finely chopped oatcakes or brown bread, to serve


  1. Place all smoked salmon, cream cheese, double cream and lemon juice into a processor or blender and process for 10 seconds for a rough pâté. For a less coarse pâté, process for 5 seconds longer.

  2. Stir in the chives and season with black pepper, a little salt and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve with oatcakes or slices of brown bread lightly toasted.
