Simple Stilton, Walnut & Onion Crostini


  • 1 baguette, cut into 1cm slices
  • 200g Stilton or any blue cheese, sliced thinly
  • A jar of onion chutney
  • 50g walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 small bunch flat leaf parsley

Ingredients available at selected stores.


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160°C non fan / 140°C fan /gas mark 4.

  2. Place the slices of baguette onto a baking sheet and put in the oven for 15 minutes.

  3. Remove the bread from the oven and top each slice with the blue cheese, a suitable amount of the onion chutney and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts.

  4. Scatter the flat leaf parsley over and serve.
