Smash Burger


  • 1 pack Jack’s 4 beef quarter pounders
  • 4 Old El Paso regular tortilla wraps
  • 4 tsp vegetable oil
  • ½ pack Jack’s grated cheddar
  • 1 small handful rocket
  • ½ red onion, finely sliced
  • 100g Mrs Elswood Burger gherkins
  • 20 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • French’s American mustard


  1. Smash the burger between 2 sheets of parchment until about 1cm thick.
  2. Lay the smashed burger onto the wrap and press down until covering all the wrap.
  3. Heat a frying pan until hot, add the oil and wrap, burger side down, one at at time.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned and nearly cooked through.
  5. Flip the burger over, scatter with cheese and cook for another 1-2 minutes until hot through.
  6. Scatter the burger taco with rocket, red onion, gherkins, tomatoes and mustard.
  7. Fold together to eat!
