How to make a Turkey Club Sandwich - Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 rashers Spoilt Pig smoked streaky bacon
  • 6 slices Rob medium white bread
  • ½ head little gem lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 avocado, stoned and thickly sliced
  • 3 salad tomatoes, thickly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Heinz light salad cream
  • 60g light cream cheese
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan until hot. Add the bacon and cook for 3-5 minutes until crispy and cooked through.

  2. Meanwhile, toast the bread until golden brown then lay 4 slices onto a board.

  3. Spread the salad cream on 2 slices, then divide the lettuce between those 2, top those with the avocado and half the tomato slices.

  4. Spread the other 2 slices with the cream cheese, then layer the remaining tomatoes and bacon on top.

  5. Season both slices with black pepper then place the bacon topped slice on top of the avocado slice.

  6. Lay the last slices of toast on top and press down very gently. Cut in half and dive in!
